Why does it seem like these whistlers are doing so amazing on over the hill detection? I have noticed this trend? Anyone else? It seem's their antenna structure is very unique in this manner? Where is Micro when you need him?

Never really got into the antenna design conversations there was too much debate for me. Though what is the difference Runaway? Can you explain the different versions etc in another thread? Thanks.

Sorry guys but I've tried a couple of different whistlers and IMHO, they don't cut it in hilly, curvy terrain. I don't feel confident when driving with them.

I got mostly hills and curves to deal with. I seem to get by alright but sometimes the range just sucks.
